The Honiton Pottery Collectors' Society has sent us news of its forthcoming open meeting in Offwell Village Hall on Sunday 28th April.
>
From the e-mail:
"Once a year we meet, to share our enthusiasm and learn about the Honiton and Crown Dorset Potteries. There are opportunities to ask our experts about your pots and also some members buy and sell their Honiton & Crown Dorset pottery. Each meeting also has talks on different topics and discussions."
Entry is £2 for non-members. There is no obligation to become a member of HPCS, but if they join on the day their entrance would be refunded.
The Society's aim is to promote, through its membership, the study and collection of pottery made at the Honiton and Crown Dorset potteries. For more information, call Jackie Putt on 01895 631775 or look at the HPCS website www.honiton-pottery-collectors-society.co.uk
Offwell is about 2 miles south-east of Honiton (turn south off the A35 Axminster Road).
