On Saturday 8th November, West Buckland School is hosting an event - booked tickets only - commemorating the centenary of the start of the Great War. A drinks reception on Saturday is followed by an exhibition, talk by by Chris Allin ("West Buckland Boys in World War One") and Remembrance dinner. There is a Remembrance Service on Sunday.
