The Teign Valley History Group is hosting a talk by Mark Cottle - Exeter Cathedral - on April 25th. >
The talk is on Thursday April 25th at 7.30pm at the Teign Valley Community Hall in Christow (note that this is a revised date due to a scheduling clash). Mark Cottle is an experienced lecturer in Anglo-Saxon, Mediaeval and Tudor history.
The Teign Valley History Group has sent us a provisional listing of its events for 2013-2014.
Visitors pay £4 each meeting but are not allowed on our walks as we have to restrict numbers.
We are hoping to arrange walks/tours to Canonteign Manor & house, a tour of Moretonhampstead, a tour of Ugbrooke House, Chudleigh & a tour of the site of Clampitt Farm which was a meeting place of Quakers in 17th Century.
